Cotto was at his best at junior welter,so wouldn't the "greener" version of Cotto have been the best version of Cotto.Also Canelo is 40 plus fights into his career and in his physical prime so would have to infer that this is as good as he is going to ever be and Cotto had distinguished amateur career and was a titleholder at 140,so enlighten me on just what "green" means.

Maidana deserves a FMJ fight as much as Pauli Malanaggi does. They both beat Broner but only one got the official W. On the other hand we have Amir Khan who was knocked down a couple of times by Julio Diaz but mind you, Diaz was looking for that one punch the whole night. Khan has victories over both Paulie and Maidana, he should get the FMJ fight.

Dude, you're mentioning wins that happened over three years ago. He should get the fight based on fights he had years ago?
