I think Thurman is more versatile, but Mathysse appears to have a better chin. I don't know the purpose of this thread though, Mathysse is still a good fighter despite his losses (really should only have 1 loss), his fans were the annoying ones. If you want make comparisons to a real hypejob use Adrien Broner next time.

I consider AB better than Matthysse, losing a decision to Maidana is not too bad

It's bad considering the hype surrounding Broner. I get that Lucas had huge hype as well, but I think he's done more in his career than AB. And losing a decision to Danny Garcia in a relatively close fight is better than getting dropped twice and dominated by Marcos Maidana IMO. I'd also pick Matthysse to beat Broner.

Don't be fooled by that handspeed bro. If you didn't think that Maidana loss was bad you have some pretty low expectations for Broner. He took a beating and was humiliated. Matthysse is a far better fighter than Broner at least at this point an all around better fighter.

Pretty sure Lucas beats Adrien at this point. Would be an interesting fight.

Broner has done more to be fair. Lucas has had one title fight and lost.

I don't even see how there is any comparison, Matthysse is definitely the better fighter. He has a far better resume, even with the losses which could be disputed. Broner fought little guys, lost to quintero arguably, lost to PDL arguably, got smoke checked by Maidana. Matthysse would knock him senseless he is too easy to hit with his flat feet.

Matthysse got robbed against Judah and Alexander.

Broner got gifts against Ponce and Quintero.

                  Need more?

Matthysse stopped Soto, Dallas Jr., Ajose, and Peterson.

Broner stopped DeMarco (good win) and beat Paulie (good win, but another disputed decision).

It's nor particularly fair because Mathysse has had a longer career and Broner still has work to do, but no way can anybody say Broner has done more than Lucas at this point. Titles don't mean shit nowadays.

You're kidding right? Thurman recovered immediately, how the fk did he almost get ko'd?

Mathysse wasnt some hype job and he gave it his best against Garcia, but because his momentum was slowed a little "he was exposed" thats just bull**** and it seems to lend some false sense of respect for some of these posters to appear more intelligent about the sport than they really are.
This is a great post. Boxing is the only sport where you can be successful 30 of 31 times and be "exposed".

Take Brandon Rios for example. What's his record, 31-2 with 23 KOs or some ****? Yet on B-Scene he's a skill-less bum punching bag. I'd like to see any of these motherf**kers on b-scene get in the ring with that "punching bag", lmfao
