Your thread is a tad disrespectful to Matthyse, Lucas got beat by the better man on the night but before that Lucas has proven to be an intelligent boxer with the way he sets up his punches and the way he avoids someone countering him, he had a decent résumé to go along with it, he didn't just get the Garcia fight by mouth (Claiming to be the most ducked fighter on the planet), he did so by building his body of work and when the time came he took his chance against Pederson. He failed against Matthyse but that doesn't mean he was "Exposed"

I disagree with the premise of Lucas being exposed, but Thurman is going to be dominant as long as he's in the WW division, but how long can that be for? He's way too big to stay in that division for too long.

What do you mean the next Matthysse? Lucas was and probably still is the second best LWW on the planet. If Thurman one day becomes the second best WW on the planet, it'd be a great achievement.

I think the future is bright for Thurman. That moment of vulnerability against Karass though.. made me think his achilles heel may be his chin. Too early to tell completely though

He most definitely will be "exposed". He is one of those fighters whose reputation /hype (in boxing circles, not among the general public) is impossible to live up to. Same with GGG and even Rigo. They don't even necessarily have to lose, a less than dominant performance will be enough for people to cry "exposed".

Thurman is an ok fighter. I havnt seen anything to suggest he is gonna be great. If him and Matthysse ever fight i would put my money on Matthysse at this present time.

People on nsb are already going on like he's great and saying fighters that are much better than Thurman are ducking him.......thats nsb for you smh
