Ducking???
doesn't want to fight Rios due to weight and wanting to defend his title??? yet he's looking at the winner of Bradley-Pacquiao? which they're not coming down to accommodate Ruslan. He's fought Bradley at 147 so what's the problem? he can fight Brandon for a good payday $$$ above 140, AND still keep his title of he loses... sounds like ducking to meComment

Yes he did fight Bradley at 47. And that's probably the best performance of his career. I won't say he's ducking Rios. If he is, its pure ******ity cause he'd destroy Brandon. But I do think his people wanna proceed with caution with him. All of these part-time fight fans seem to think he's the second coming. Us real fight fans that have been watching him on ESPN for years know that while he's tough, rugged, and hard punching. He's also limited and can be outboxed. And it doesn't exactly take a Mayweather/Rigondeaux level of skill to expose his limitations. I mean, the REAL jr welterweight champ is fighting a tune-up in a couple weeks against his daddy.Comment

I know, right? It's like, every time Judah turns in a disappointing performance, he manages to bounce back by either winning big (Mabuza, Paris) or losing in style (Cotto, Garcia). No matter how many times it seems like "Zab's done!", I still want to see him in there with these young guys.
It's for that reason I'm not about to call him a gatekeeper yet because I believe he's still capable of a title-winning upset somewhere down the line. Rather, he's more like... a strong acid test. A good win on a contender's resume, but no shame in losing to him either. So yeah, Judah-Provodnikov would be cool.Comment
