Dude you think Marquez would fight on anybody's undercard, much less Pac's? Don't make me laugh.

Who would pay that much to put him on the undercard? Better yet... who would put him on the undercard?

Anybody think Marquez vs. Alvarado + Garcia vs. Gamboa as a PPV would outsell Pacquiao vs. Bradley II?

I think it would. And Marquez vs. Alvarado would only be the main event because of Marquez's name, but in the eyes of the fans Garcia vs. Gamboa would be the true main event. But Marquez vs. Alvarado is a decent scrap too.

This fight is not an intelligent move on Marquez's part. Why take this fight? Alvarado's style is wrong for him. Plus, he is taller, longer, bigger, and younger than Marquez. And what is there to gain from this fight? Marquez should have agreed to fight Provodnikov for the title. That makes much more sense. Ruslan's style is tailor made for him. That's not saying he would win at this point, but the 2 styles would make an exciting fight for the fans. If Alvarado decides to box and move like he did against Rios the 2nd time, it could be a long night for Marquez and a somewhat boring fight.

And actually, if Alvarado goes back to his pressuring ways he could pull a Katsidis type of fight. Somewhere along the line Alvarado thought of himself as a master boxer and that identity crisis has taxed him.
It was awesome when katsidis put cryquez on his back...but thats all he pretty much did, cryquez destroyed him after that...

But i feel you,i dislike cryquez with a passion, and iam hoping rado sends hiss a$$ packing into retirement..
No need for crybabies in boxing!this is a mans sport, but it wouldnt be nothing without womens boxing!!

I think this'll be a highly competitive fight, despite what some may think.
