Only way it would've happened is PPV and no way it happens in between Mayweather and their next big PPV, Cotto/Martinez.

Way too much money to be put in for one even.... split it up and go from there

How awesome it would have been. Marquez retiring in to the sunset after knocking out Pac in spectacular fashion. But nope, Instead he's coming off a loss, fighting a guy coming off a loss.. Why Marquez why? Is it the money? I mean, at this point your legacy is worth more than the money you would get fighting left over's.. And how funny would it be if he lost this fight..

                  Dont understand this move

This late in his career Marquez should only concern himself with fights that matter, and a fight against a twice beaten Alvarado isnt going to do anything for his legacy

No way JMM loses a decision, and no way alvarado knocks him out.

just a way to keep him busy, get some $$$, and set up the PAC-JMM 5 superfight
