Please Floyd, don't pick Khan! I know he beat Maidana, but that's old news! Maidana deserves the fight! He beat a welterweight, and he's been fighting welterweights his last few fights (unlike some others out there), so he DESERVES the match. It's not like he beat Rios, or Joel Casamayor, he (Maidana) deserves a shot at the Welterweight champion. If not Maidana, then choose Lara! He also EARNED a shot! He beat Angulo and Trout, and I believe he beat Paul Williams. It's not like he got knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez. It's not like he almost got destroyed by a 140 punder like Ruslan Provodnikov. Maidana and Lara are legit opponents. Khan is like a lot of fighters out here, who are living off there name and popularity ONLY!

Jesus Soto Karass, Josesito Lopez and Adrien Broner is not bad for 3 welterweight wins. Look at Bradley's last 3 fights at welterweight. See if the guy he fought was a welterweight in their previous fight. After that, do the same with Pacquiao. Maidana doesn't look so bad after all.

Stop the begging. Maidana isn't even the best Argentinian, Garcia beat Lucas, yet Floyd is going for Maidana? Confirming Floyd is the biggest cherry picker in boxing history.

No doubt Maidana has earned a shot at the big fights, he fights his heart out. But against Mayweather, Maidana will look slower than usual and will get picked apart the whole night. Maidana has an unorthodox style and big power in his punches but Mayweather has been tested and can take a punch. Boring one sided match in my opinion.
