Former heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko, the leader of the UDAR (Punch) political party in Ukraine, has been caught in the middle of a deadly riot, where 21 people have been killed as police and protesters continue to assault each other during an opposition rally in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev. Klitschko, one of the key figures in the protest, is standing side by side with 200,000 protesters who are expressing their frustration over the government's ditching of a pact with the EU under Russian pressure. Klitschko, who plans to run for president, has been part of the protests for the last few months.

Silence is tacit acceptance. Vitali, and his UDAR members, are not publicly trying to disperse the rioters, hence, are complicit. Yanukovich has said the rioters must leave Maidan before more talks can begin. That can't be unreasonable?
