Martinez isn't even top 5 p4p at this point....how is fighting him going to get him there, he beats martinez he can be top 10, but not top 5....he won't get top 5 until he moves up tbh....the mw division is pathetic and it'll be hard to earn a spot there.

Canelo can jump to 160 and he likely will at one point and that's a guy held high in the P4P rankings, Martinez is held as the current number 1 in the MW division.
Along with guys like Jermell Charlo and Lara they're all future MWs somewhere down the line and they'll be good victories to have.

He has not beaten anybody of note. He looks good KOing second tier fighters but is yet to fight a top rated fighter. He should not be in the top ten either, he should not be there on potential alone.

Stieglitz is another name for proof that the SMW division is terrible along with Edwin Rodriquez.

Only relative names in the SMW division is Ward, Groves and Froch, that is testament to how bad it is.
