When exactly did Porter become a cash cow again? If anything Thurman with his KO style will be filling up arenas on his own without an ethnic following.

Thurman is GBP fiter so i doubt his ppl arent willing to put up the money but the question is that if Porter is willing to put up the title.

Thurman is Maidanas mando. This would be a voluntary defense for Porter. He has no obligation to fight him. This is Maidanas problem and eventually Floyd's.

I don't blame Porter. GBP always matches their lesser known fighters to eliminate each other and protect their cash cows.

I wonder who Thurman's going to fight.

Porter-Brook is set now for later this year I imagine.

Thurman's getting pretty avoided here. First Maidana, then Guerrero, now Porter?

Probably Paulie if they put the money up, or Luis Collazo.

Sounds like he's dodging a tuff fighter.

I don't see Thurman backing down due to financial reasons, but Porters dad gives his reason's of why the fight will not happen anytime soon. Porter is a great fighter and should fight the best, undefeated or not. There is no "staying in you own lane", there is only 1 lane, and every great fighter should get in the ring and face each other. Is this not a clear duck tactic? Porter is not a known big name that will sell just yet, Thurman seems to be getting there quicker with his finishes. Diva type antics are getting out of hand in boxing.
