At least Garcia has fought amir khan at the time when he was #1 in the division and mathysse when he was perceived as the boogieman. Can't really say the same about mickey.

Salido was #1 guy in division and Mikey made easy work of him, then Mikey took a money fight in JuanMa, then destroyed the 130lb Champ, then he schooled the guy who people said had beaten the champ before. 2 division champ in one year, yeah, but you can't really say he didn't do anything last year

Well, Casa vs Garcia actually happened, which is the difference. But if you want to fall back on the Rios' shenanigans I'd completely understand.

According to Gamboa, it was 750k, until he decided to pull out and Arum raised the stakes. But it's more complicated than that. Yuri wanted out of his contract, not only with Top Rank, but with Arena Box. It turned out to be a bad move, but Gamboa was looking out for the future of his career. It's understandable.

Some people love playing it up like Gamboa ducked Rios, as if these are schoolchildren meeting for a fight after class. These are professional prizefighters looking to maximize their earning power.
