The poll was a way to establish a boxing-fan database for mining and ultimately to be sold to marketing firms for targeted\focused-group based ads (Which is why poll voters needed a twitter\facebook account)

Maidana should get this fight on May 3rd with Floyd, for all the right reasons. The most important reason being that he earned it the old-fashioned way, by just kicking azz and taking names.

Khan on the other-hand has some work to do ... 1.)He needs to lose this entitlement mentality 2.)He needs to get back in the ring and stay there win or lose 3.)He needs to release and forget about all these alternative methods of getting Championship\Mega-fights -- And start fighting for the Mega-fights 4.) He has to learn that no risk equals no reward, he should have insisted on fighting Alexander, period!

Khan will get there one day .... But he needs to fix a lot of things in the interim. Because of his general demeanor and sense of entitlement displayed over the last six months or so, he's now viewed, more than ever as a spoiled primadonna that has to get his way, no matter what.

Mayweather picked the right guy..especially on a Mexican holiday, even tho I realize maidana isn't Mexican. Now, they need to set the undercard. Broker or Khan vs. Guerrero makes the most sense with either Thurman or Porter in the fight before that one. If this all comes close to happening, expect 1.2 million ppv buys..perhaps a few more.

Well publicity and drama would still be achieved by fighting the winner of the poll, opportunity to show who's boss sounds a bit ridiculous to me, he can't be that insecure, he can fight pretty much who he wants and everyone knows it.

Khan rigged that last poll and we all know it. Maidana deseeves the fight regardless of any of the polls, which were dominated by Maidana when you tally all three.

Khan should have fought Alexander. Costly duck right there. Khan should fight guerrero on the undercard and try to set himself up for September..or better yet, khan should fight the new Berto (Broner) on the undercard and if he wins, then fight Floyd next. Either way, a fighter needs a big win to fight mayweather next and khan doeant have that right now..chino does.
