Mosley and Cotto were offered the same deal a catchweight fight.

    Mosley said no, Cotto negotiated.

Roach made it clear Mosley would be next, if Floyd kept on ducking.

Pacquiao had gone up already moved up a couple of weights in 18 months, it was only right he took his time before becoming a full welter.

Though in hindsight he never needed a catchweight.

Shane was "Too good" at that time according to Freddie Roach.

No he did not. He was fighting only twice a year and he could not fight everyone that challenged him. If he had fought Mosley then sure as hell he would have been accused of ducking somebody else. What difference does it make? He would have easily beaten Mosley just as he did later when they did fight.

Pacquiao's team on record, on video admitting that they ducked Mosley, and yet Pacquiao fans still coming with with the lamest, most delusional responses.

Its easy to say that Pacquiao isn't ducking someone when he is clearly not in control of who he fights. He fights whoever his promoter tells him to fight. He doesn't need to "duck" anyone, because his promoter ducks fighters for him. I don't understand what people don't get about that.

By contrast, its just as easy to accuse Mayweather of ducking whoever you want, because he's actually his own promoter and a business man that controls his own fate and also says things clearly designed to piss people off.

Lmao, really? That's a hilarious comment on a lot of different levels.

And Pac's team certainly didn't think he would easily beat Mosley - at least until after Mayweather demolished them. They didn't even ask for a catch weight like they were planning on doing.

Nice way of Roach brushing off Mosley's offer as he and the rest of us knew that there was no way in hell that Mosley would get a fight before Cotto, a TR fighter...... I can't believe that there are still people who don't know this simple to understand fact.

Too boot, I'm sure you are one of those guys that have said in the past that Arum just likes to make fights between TR opponents ..... that is just too funny!

The difference is, that wasn't the case at this time.

Pacquaio had just fought Hatton in his fight prior to this whole situation with Mosley. Who was Hatton signed with? Golden Boy Promotions.

Nice job of exposing yourself, though

Mosley was the #1 guy coming off an impressive win and the fight people wanted but sadly he was "Too good".

shane went to wild card to challenge pacquiao at 142 but roach said he was "too good" and that was that.

they tried to drain cotto down to 142 but he said no and that fight was almost never made till cotto said 145 was ok.

mosley had just battered cotto's daddy while cotto was coming off a mediocre win over clottey... they clearly wanted no part of mosley at the time.
