Tyson Fury is...

Everytime Fury fights he looks vulnerable but entertaining. Looking at his weight for this fight you can tell that he simply doesn't have the metal fortitude to succeed at the highest level but it's going to be damn fun following him on his journey.
Plus like some of you have already pointed out, I don't think he'd come to fight in that shape against top class opposition but at the end of the day he looks like an accident just waiting to happen.Comment

it was a flash knock down
and its funny to see people dissing Fury
Abel was Pulevs last opponant, so it's a good idea to see where Puelv and Fury are and thats about on the same level as far as competition
Fury came off a long lay off and clearly out of shape, due to what happened with Haye and he did the bizness
This talk of "top tier" HW, as Yoz puts it
There is no Top tier, its Wlad, Haye, Pulev, Fury, Chisora, Arreola, Stiverne and possibly Wilder
To say Fury cant hang is ridiculous, he's one of those guys who can go from a good performance to a bad performance and right now he's winning all his fights, nothing more can be asked of him
There are people in here terrified and wish Fury never faces Wlad, so much so these same people who normally hate on David Haye are biggin Haye up
Its hilarious
Fury is a threat whoever you put him in against, share size, toughness and strength.Comment

Joshua looks really promising but he's not been tested yet. Kind of reminds me of people were hyping Price up when he was on his way up.
For all we know he could go over with the first decent shot to the chin. He has huge potential and looks to have the mental and physical aspect to his game sorted but it's way too early to make any solid conclusions.Comment

He didn't look that great in this one, he's had better days. He got that 2nd knockdown but damn he looked to be in a compromising position as it occurred. On the one hand, there are not that many HW fighters who are 6'9" and can throw punches while their feet are in a southpaw position while backing away; but he has to remember he is just a huge target no matter what tricks he tries to pull off, or what natural ability I or other ppl think he has.
the bottom line with him is that I wouldn't ignore how fast he can turn it on and devolve the fight into a physical battle. he can fight inside which is also not that common at HW so anyone who fights him has to be ready for a grind. Chisora rematch will be awesomeComment

a fair summary, but he wasn't able to legitimately win a bean in the olympics and has had a bunch of nobodies to knock over as a pro so far, so it is premature to say anything beyond what you said, that he looks promising.Joshua looks really promising but he's not been tested yet. i agree he does, if he continues to learn well and has good coaching. he is far from being properly schooled so far, never mind the finished article, but i'll certainly keep an eye on the ladComment

Well that's one advantages of having the Olympics in your back yard!a fair summary, but he wasn't able to legitimately win a bean in the olympics and has had a bunch of nobodies to knock over as a pro so far, so it is premature to say anything beyond what you said, that he looks promising.

What's reassuring to me is that Anthony seems like a humble, level headed individual. If you listen to his interviews he clearly knows that he's by far not the finished article and acknowledges his mistakes and tries to work on new things during fights.
I think it's that mentality that could make him successful but it's way too early to try and hype him up as someone who would give our current crop a beating. I think he'd do well against the likes of Hughie Fury because he's at a similar level but to say he beats up Tyson is still kind of premature in my eyes.Comment

a lot of people underestimate Furys ability to fight on the inside
usually big guys like him cant fight on the inside see Wlad
Fury is has fast hands for his size, and he moves very quickly, even though he was way overweight tonight, he was moving pretty well.
Next fight he'll come in better condition now that he's got rid of his ring rust
a years lay off must of been unmotivating for him cant blame him if he went off the rails over Christmas.Comment
