What's reassuring to me is that Anthony seems like a humble, level headed individual. If you listen to his interviews he clearly knows that he's by far not the finished article and acknowledges his mistakes and tries to work on new things during fights.

I think it's that mentality that could make him successful but it's way too early to try and hype him up as someone who would give our current crop a beating. I think he'd do well against the likes of Hughie Fury because he's at a similar level but to say he beats up Tyson is still kind of premature in my eyes.
i think hughie is far more rounded, has legitimately won stuff off his own bat and is was loosely and more relaxed, maybe not so strong though

i'm humble and honest about my abilities, i ain't gonna win bugger all though, ie it doesn't win you anything to have that attitude, although it is the correct attitude for joshua to have at this moment in time. best of luck to him, he has talent but he needs so much work and luck that i won't commit to a judgement on him for a year to 18 months yet. so far i think he's david price mk II...

He quite clearly couldn't be arsed for this fight and came in the heaviest he has in his career.

Prior to this he was in the best shape of his life for Haye.

Not saying he's good enough to beat Wlad but he most certainly is a threat to the main HW contenders.
      100% this.

True, Hughie has had nothing handed to him. But in my eyes if any comparisons are to be made at this stage then they should be made with fighters at a similar stage in their careers and Hughie and Anthony are at similar stage coming up even though Hughie has had more experience in the pro ranks.

I think those two fighting down the line to see which one advances is far more realistic than Anthony fighting the likes of Del Boy or Tyson.

The notion that Wlad is ducking this bumbling idiot is ridiculous. Wladimir would KO him with a jab.

Similarly, claims that Haye would have struggled with this prat are laughable, too. Indeed, a one-armed Haye would probably KO him.
Agree he is pretty average in terms of athletic ability and only possess basic boxing skills.

He's always been pretty reckless in the ring, and i can't see him changing that anytime soon.
I think he'll go down hard the first time he meets one of the better names in the division.

Abel was Pulevs last opponant, so it's a good idea to see where Puelv and Fury are and thats about on the same level as far as competition

Fury came off a long lay off and clearly out of shape, due to what happened with Haye and he did the bizness

This talk of "top tier" HW, as Yoz puts it

There is no Top tier, its Wlad, Haye, Pulev, Fury, Chisora, Arreola, Stiverne and possibly Wilder

To say Fury cant hang is ridiculous, he's one of those guys who can go from a good performance to a bad performance and right now he's winning all his fights, nothing more can be asked of him

There are people in here terrified and wish Fury never faces Wlad, so much so these same people who normally hate on David Haye are biggin Haye up

              Its hilarious

Fury is a threat whoever you put him in against, share size, toughness and strength.
Yes, what you said is hilarious; and it's funny that you actually believe that.

Of course Wladimir is terrified of a wide open, technically limited fighter. What next, Wlad's ducking him?

It's sad that when he finally gets himself in a pretty good condition compared to previous fights, Haye has to pull out..

Fury wouldn't stand a chance vs alas but I'd say he is better than Ruiz, wilder, chisora and arreola.

                    The fear is almost tangible

Tyson Fury will get himself into a mandatory position to fight Wladimir Klitschko. I look forward to the reaction when Wladimir won't fight.
