Did Danny Garcia end Matthysse's career?

Well, Mathyssee seems like a quiet and lowkey type of guy so it's not surprising we haven't heard much from him. And no I don't think Garcia "ended" his career, that's ridiculous. However, that fight really hurt the Lucas hype and I'm sure his confidence as well. Him and his fans were convinced that Matthysse would come in and mow down Garcia in a few rounds, but Danny ended up giving him a proper spanking in a huge PPV event for the world to see.

Danny learned a lot from the Mathesye fight, one important thing is to not give up.

Lucas does not "deserve" a title. You could say he "deserved" one.....but had he gotten it from Peterson.....he'd still have lost it to Garcia.....so no he doesn't deserve one. That being said Lucas will be back soon, Garcia didn't end his career. He did derail the hype though, which is sort of nice and hoping people can actually talk boxing next time Lucas fights.

I want to see Broner go to 140 & face Matthysse. Matthysse doesn't really have many options left at 140 besides a rematch with Peterson since Garcia doesn't want to give Matthysse a rematch. I think he'll move up to 147 either late this year or in 2015.
