absolutely agree. canelo hasnt really been in a lot of big fights and he basically froze up vs floyd instead of slugging it out with him.

maidana only knows one way to fight unlike canelo who is more a boxer puncher and that is to slug it out and go forward and attack.

If maidana fought the same way vs floyd the way he did broner, he will catch and hurt floyd.

Maidana is not mexican. Khan/UK fanbase is bigger than Maidana argentinian fanbase.
He's not Mexican, but the various hispanic ethnic groups in this country would still get behind him. On the flip side the hispanic support Khan would draw would be a fraction of what Maidana would bring in. And to play the hispanic support off he would bring is laughable because it is a huge piece of the ppv pie especially on cinco de mayo weekend .

Now Khan will bring in UK money, but remember the PPV will be on at 3am in the UK and will cost a lot less then the one in the states. The time alone will really cut into his support, let alone the fact that he isn't the biggest draw there in the first place.

For proof, see the first minute of Elie Seckbach's most recent interview with Roger Mayweather: youtube/yPaSpIiSeJw

This also makes sense considering Khan's most recent tweets and Facebook posts, asking Mayweather to contact him about the fight. He hasn't been contacted yet about the fight because he isn't getting it, Maidana is. Also, it makes sense because Mayweather hates being predictable and doing what everyone else expects him to do.
So did inch High Private eye find out the poll was a fraud

getting behind him is not the same as buying ppvs. Hell Juan Manuel Marquez has been a great fighter for how long yet he barely has ppv power.

That's like saying all asians love pacquiao and they all buy his ppvs.

          Its not true.

          Khan/UK money > Maidana/Argentinian money.

I think Floyd may actually pick Maidana since he would have announced the Khan fight by now since winning the poll 3 days ago. It would be hilarious though that Khan is in training thinking he's getting the fight, than he doesn't. Than he'd go on infinite rants about how Floyd is afraid of fighting him. But who knows what will happen at this point.

He sure had the support against Broner, and don't try to tell me the only people that showed up to pack that arena were Argentinian.

I never said he would get all the support, but in a big fight against Floyd Mayweather he will get a hell of a lot more hispanic support than Khan will and to think that doesn't make a big difference in buys is laughable.

Just look at the ESPN Deportes poll, that should be a big sign how a Khan fight goes over with Hispanic fans.

If you think about it- the safest way for gbp to get khan back in the limelight is to do this. Tease a floyd fight then make people think floyd is ducking. This way his rep grows and his chin doesn't get touched.

Worked for manny until he got ktfo. Of course there is no way khan could go 4 years without getting ktfo.

Maidana is the much more exciting fighter even if his style is tailor made for Floyd. You never know though. Floyd can get ****y and get caught like he did against Shane Mosley and Maidana is the much harder puncher than Mosley.

lol, funny how the Mayweather poll was the only one that favored the China-chinned scrub over Maidana.
