Dan Rafael went on a one man crusade on Twitter the other day to try and shame Team Mayweather into picking Maidana by posting Youtube clips of Khan getting knocked out with messages like "Floyd is going to fight this guy??" Knowing how weak of a stomach Floyd has I sort of figured that's all it would take.Originally posted by A-Wolf View PostFor one, I've referred to the people at Showtime/CBS. Repeatedly. Not Floyd. You can't seem to keep up either.

Fighting Khan would probably make this Floyd's lowest selling PPV since before the Oscar fight. Khan doesn't have any credibility here and with guys like Dan Rafael bashing the fight it will make a very difficult sell. I just can't see an argument for Khan bringing in a lot more money than Maidana let alone more period.
Like it or not Broner was one of the biggest names in the sport when Maidana embarrassed him and the Hispanic community here would gladly get behind him to see if he can do the same to big brother. Plus no common fans remember Maidana's last loss to Alexander, but a lot remember Khan getting blitzed by Garcia just 3 fights ago, which would make this an even tougher sell.Last edited by turkas; 02-12-2014, 06:41 PM.

Maidana is not mexican. Khan/UK fanbase is bigger than Maidana argentinian fanbase.

Canelo Part 2.
Maidana is a mauler, You think he'd try to go the Canelo route and box with. Mayweather!? That would never happen
