First off, I never brought Manny into this conversation even once. Don't see the need to compare Manny vs Marquez and Floyd vs Marquez. Styles make fights first off, and Marquez clearly has either grown into a welter or "enhanced" his body into welter. He was drinking piss coming Ito the Mayweather fight and looked bloated and weak. Now he's yoked up and powerful.
Shane didn't come back and fight a guy that had to come up 2 weight classes after his 16 month layoff so there's no comparison is there?
I agree Floyd fought good fighters BEFORE he became this PPV star and before the big paydays started. Now it's take the easiest fight and make the money while taking the least amount of risk.
He could have made HUnDREDS of millions against Manny over the last few years but instead we see him against Ortiz and Guerrero types and now probably Khan? Floyd could have been so much more but that zero means everything to him.

To me, you just make one excuse after another to **** on Floyd. Its always somthing wrong with the people he fights. And what you fail to realize is that you do that to any fighter in history. I can shred Manny Pacquiao's resume. I can shred JMM's resume. I can shred Wlasimir Klitschko's resume. There's positives and negatives to every opponent. With Floyd's you choose to highlight the negatives. Bur at the end of the day its all excuses. JMM for example. The one Floyd fought is a bum. The one Manny fought was a beast. Last I checked, all them muscles didn't help him none against Bradley. You would have criticized Floyd to no end had he rematched JMM after he KO'd Pac. Do you not find it a lil ridiculous that the same muscled up version of JMM that Pac fought wouldn't be an acceptable opponent for Floyd?

Very similar to the way Manny fought Morales, who lost to Raheem. Only difference is. In Floyd's next fight, he fought the guy that beat Judah, which he's also criticized for. LOL!!! Manny fought Morales for a third time. Explain to me how many comes out better in that. Cause I've never been able to make sense of it.

So you are comparing Manny fighting Morales, who he lost to previously and then fighting a trilogy with Morales to Floyd vs Baldomir ? Please go edit or delete your post!

The point was that Larryxxx, YOU and a few others were trying to use logic on Floyd's opponent selection but I blew that all out of the waters. That is, if Floyd can pick the loser, Judah, then don't use that excuse that you used as to why Floyd didn't fight other fighters.

There are other examples that I could have used but I hope you get the point!

I never said he wouldn't have been a good opponent for May weather after the KO.. Marquez knew he would have to take random testing and he dont want any part of that lol. And I never said Marquez was a bum, but he did have to come up 2 weight classes. Like Floyd going up to 168 and fighting Ward and losing. Would he be a bum?

He came back and fought a guy 2 weight classes below his and failed to make weight. Then fought Shane coming off a 16 month layoff. Canelo is the only good win he has in the last few years that matters and he screwed that up by having the catch weight. Floyd could have been a legend if he was willing to fight some guys at their best through the years or even moved up to challenge someone like Martinez for a chance at the middle weight title. I understand he makes a ton of money for fighting guys like Guerrero ,Ortiz, and Khan but legacy is built on super fights not sparring sessions against B level guys.just my 2 cents...

Floyd vs Ward. They don't want to see that. Even though it would be PFP 1 vs 2. Which is the excuse they used to justify fighting Marquez. "But he's the #2 PFP fighter in the world, that's a big challenge for anyone.". Mention Floyd vs ward though, and 1 vs 2 becomes a moot point. Then it becomes, "you just want Floyd to fight bigger guys so he can lose". Floyd vs guy 2 divisions lower, OK. Floyd go up 2 divisions, not OK.
