BTW, is it even possible to hate Floyd more than Unc? I promise. As much as he hates Floyd, he'd still go in on Pac-Boy.

Canelo is the only good win he has in the last few years that matters and he screwed that up by having the catch weight. Floyd could have been a legend if he was willing to fight some guys at their best through the years or even moved up to challenge someone like Martinez for a chance at the middle weight title. I understand he makes a ton of money for fighting guys like Guerrero ,Ortiz, and Khan but legacy is built on super fights not sparring sessions against B level guys.just my 2 cents...
Then you complain about Mosley. This dude was coming off probably the second or third best win in his career. He was pretty much the concensus P4P #3. Eight months before the fight when he jumped in Floyd's face after the JMM fight, everybody said Floyd got punked out and was scared of Shane. How did it go from Floyd's scared and will never fight him to Mosley was old in eight months.
Then you complain about the catchweight with Canelo. I don't like catchweights either. But let's be real, did it matter that much? Does Manny's win over Cotto not count because of the catchweight? Does Manny's win over DLH not count because DLH was fighting 7lbs lower than he had in nearly a decade? Do you not respect Manny as an eight division champ? Because he won two of those titles in catchweight fights? Its goes both ways.
And then you say he should move up to middleweight. Would I like to see him try it? Of course. But I don't hold it against him if he doesn't. I mean% he's won titles infive divisions. At some point he had to fight bigger guys did he not?
And as for his legacy. Floyd did enough BEFORE he got to the welterweight division to be a first ballot HOF'r. Genaro Hernandez was the man at 30. Floyd fights him in his 17th-18th pro fight. Who the hell wanted any part of Chico Corrales in those days? Castillo was a fringe P4P guy. Dude's resume is solid. Dislike for him as a person clouds ya'lls judgement. Its simple as that.

But JMM has shown he can compete in that division against everyone not named Floyd Mayweather. Floyd didn't make the catchweight. But there was no catchweight when he sparked Manny out. And Floyd fought JMM after a two year layoff. You use a 16 month layoff to dismiss his win over Shane. Does Floyd not get the same pass?

Shane didn't come back and fight a guy that had to come up 2 weight classes after his 16 month layoff so there's no comparison is there?
I agree Floyd fought good fighters BEFORE he became this PPV star and before the big paydays started. Now it's take the easiest fight and make the money while taking the least amount of risk.
He could have made HUnDREDS of millions against Manny over the last few years but instead we see him against Ortiz and Guerrero types and now probably Khan? Floyd could have been so much more but that zero means everything to him.
