I don't care what your eyes say. My eyes say both Margarito and Baldomir were f.uckin' terrible. My eyes tell me that every time Margarito got on a bit of a streak, he would lose a fight. My eyes also told me that Baldomir beat the top guy in the division. And I don't to pick and choose when its OK and not OK to knock off the champion in a division based on who I think is better. Baldomir was the champ. When means Floyd, Margarito, Cotto, or whoever else was gonna have to go through him to be THE MAN in the division.

The lineage went from Ricardo Mayorga to Cory Spinks to Zab Judah to Carlos Baldomir - that's one of the worst lineages in history.

It's just simply playing dumb or being an incredible arse-licker to suggest that Baldomir was better than Margarito because he wasn't....not in any criteria.

So are you saying we get to pick and choose the "champion" in a division based on who we think is good and who's not? According to that logic, Holyfield's first reign as heavyweight champ is bogus because he took the title from Buster Douglas. I'm not saying Baldomir is better than Margarito. I don't either was all that good but Baldomir was the champ. And I don't feel its my place to determine when the established lineal title becomes irrelevant. Its basically the Roy Jones-Darius Mickelscki argument. Just because we thought RJ was better, it didn't mean Mickelscki wasn't the lineal champ in the division. And IMO its a hole in RJ's resume for not handling that.
