People saying Mayweather should fight GGG is more ridiculous, but it isn't a good reason why the promotional war should be a barrier to one fight but not the other.

I've never said that Floyds ducking anyone, and understand the reasons why some fights get made and others don't.

In this case it's a fight I'd very much like to see, but in the circumstances I think the concessions that are asked of Lara for it to happen will prove to be a stumbling block. HBO and Golovkin need Lara a whole lot less than Lara needs GGG right now.

It would never be made in time for April 26 anyway, and with the potential of a Geale or Kirkland fight next, Lara isn't really popular enough to be a desirable option. Hell, even Lee will probably bring in the numbers that Lara would.

Ain't saying I'm happy with it but it is what it is.
