Two reasons I hate this fight.

1.) My two favorite fighters.

2.) It takes pressure off Canelo and Sergio. Now I expect Canelo and Sergio's promoter to start asking for this fight to happen, meanwhile their guys are fighting tailor made opponents.

It isn't going to benefit GGG in any way, except a W. He is asking for big fights (the winner between Cotto/Martinez). What would a 19 win Lara do for GGG? Also, GGG's next fight will be at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden for HBO. That poses problems for a GBP fighter. When I read Lara's statement, I asked myself the same question, are you serious??
This fight ends very early.
