I have no problem with GGG fighting Lee, but if Lara is available - and he is - they have to at least make him an offer. Otherwise I can't take them serious no more.
Why is it obvious that K2 'want no part of him'? The story that Lara called out GGG only broke in the last 24hrs and Loefflers reply was a perfectly reasonable one...'Are you serious?' - after all there'd be no point in even considering it if Lara didn't intend to go through with it would there?

Loeffler probably won't even have had time to check with the HBO execs yet - and from DeCubas' comments it would appear their side hasn't spoken to Haymon either, so as of right now this fight is just a pipe dream.

Lara may not be 'available' if Haymon says 'no' or if it means HBOs gonna want options on future fights (which is highly likely), so it's just too early to say.

This fight ain't taking place in April, no way, no how, and negotiations haven't even begun, so as of yet we don't know what either side thinks or is willing to concede to get it made.

And as for K2 'making Lara an offer' - of course they haven't, they only just got his Tweet a fw hours ago, how do you think this works? Is Loeffler just supposed to Tweet Lara right back and say 'yeah, sure, 500K do it for ya?'.

if he Beats GGG for the 160 strap, then Mayweather will damn sure lock that fight for another Big Payday and title.
I think GBP should let Lara go as well, but here's the rub, you can bet that HBO will want options in the event of Lara winning, and that may not go down so well.

The thing is whilst this fight is great opportunity for Lara, it doesn't do so much for GGG - despite our fan talk on the forums, most of the paying public don't really give a damn if GGG fights Lara or someone like Lee, so you can't expect HBO to bend over backwards to accomodate Laras conditions.

Most likely Lara will have to make a lot of concessions to get GGG in the ring - will Haymon decide it's in Laras (and his own) best interest? Well, we'll just have to wait and see. This is the kinda s#it I hate in the sport.

I'm a big GGG fan, hell I really like both fighters and I think this could be a great fight, but I just got a hunch the network feud's gonna f#kk it up.

Ward and Lara have this dude shook. GGG's team doesn't even want him to fight (yet another) JMW, you can imagine just how scared they are of a true SMW like Ward.

An exclusive HBO contract? That sounds quite nice to me.

Has to be 154 or Golovkin gets no credit and the fight has no value

Right now he may be. He doesn't even bring the belt or exposure that GGG does.

I don't even think GGGs avoiding him, in particular, but Laras just not a fight many other boxers have much reason to want.

                    I doubt they're going to 154 unless it's Floyd,

Not a chance in hell it's 154 - there's very little chance it happens at all and if it does it's 160 on HBO.
