If he goes down and loses they can just say he was dead at the weight. If he went down to 154 and beat a guy like Lara it proves he can fight at 154 and it would be hard to keep him off of the Mayweather radar.

GGG is not a bum. the man won a silver medal in the olympics. he can box. he's been world champion for years. yes, he hasn't fought the top opposition. here, he has the opportunity to prove himself and silence the critics.

Lara tells his manager he is ready to make GGG chase him in the ring.

But what happened? I thought GGG was the best at cutting off the ring? Why would Lara be a problem to the almighty ring cutter? His one dimensional ass would get outboxed and yeah, fans like you would say Lara ran all night instead of seeing it like it is, that GGG is a slow plodding, defenseless, low ring IQ having, powerful fighter with a good chin.

If he had any chance of fighting Mayweather at 154 maybe he'd do it but that's a pipe dream. Mayweather is not gonna fight either of these guys when he can pick from the likes of Khan or Maidana to fight this year let's be honest.
