Floyd Mayweather Jr...The Best Ever.

Here you go OP:
Adam Smith: What's more important to you, money or boxing legacy?
Floyd Mayweather Jr.: Kids can't eat legacy. Cheques is more important at this particular point in time. I'm already a legend in the sport. I'm already an icon in the sport. I fight for me first. When my career is done, I can't go to my fans and say, 'I need you to pay my light bills. I need you to put my kids in college.' I have responsibility to take care of my family in the long run. What's most important now is the cheques, 'cause I'm in the cheque cashing business.Comment

One of the best skilled but I feel we could have seen something even more special. If Floyd fought tough opponents he would be forced to fight and we may see some of the best displays ever seen. Floyd's reluctant to fight live opponents I think will unfortunately make us miss his greatness.Floyd you have a gift. I truly believe that Floyd puts a boxing clinic on James Kirkland no matter how monster he is. I truly believe that Floyd puts Maidana back to a C level fighter once he's in there with the master.
The only fighter that I know he can't school is Manny Pacquiao. They are both truly gifted fighters. They are in a level of boxing that's beyond every fighter today. They are truly legendary of the sport of boxing.
I honestly love Floyd. But Floyd has to remember that respect is what you get when you do respectful things. Fighting skinny boy no chin Amir Khan is a very disrespectful thing to do for the sport of boxing. Fighting and beating either Marcos Maidana or Manny Pacquiao or James Kirkland to me puts you in the Muhammad Ali level or far beyond.
I've always believe in you Floyd. You have a gift. Show the world that you are The Best Ever. Fight the fights that will cement your legacy as the greatest fighter that ever live. Put a boxing clinic on Sergio Martinez. End the GGG hype. Put the Pacquiao debate to an end. I know you can do it Floyd. Don't doubt yourself.Comment

Thanks for a sensible reply. Floyd does have great boxing skills. You think of Muhammad Ali, you think of Roy Jones, then you look at Floyd Mayweather Jr. And you see everything on display in one single night of boxing. He is truly great. One of the best skilled but I feel we could have seen something even more special. I just watched James Kirkland beat Glen Tapia and I'm thinking Floyd can outboxed him and make him look like a C class fighter.
I would have been Floyd's biggest fan.
I actually wished for Floyd to shut Juan Manuel Marquez up but now his fans are using that victory to put down Manny Pacquiao.
Floyd is really really good. I just wish he would accept all the 154 offers of fighters willing to go down in weight and show everyone how boxing is really played by a real throw back fighter.Comment
