Adamek in the HOF.....is this what modern boxing has fallen to?
Take up your gripe with the HOF committee when they let him in, not me. But let's look at his resume:

    Cunningham
    Chambers
    Arreola
    Banks
    Bell
    Briggs x2
    Ulrich

I think he'll get in and I won't be sending any letters to the HOF if they do considering some of the fighters they've let in before.

yes he is, people overestimate what it takes to get in these days. gatti isnt the only undeserving fighter in there, probably about half a donzen guys in the HOF who dont deserve to be in there as much as chad.

not only does chad as an excellent resume, but he is a true champion. none of that alphabet crap, chad dawson is a two time light heavyweight champion of the world, he was a top 10 fighter for several years and beat several other HOFers. i dont know what else someone has to do to get in.

i guess popularity plays a role, as was the case with gatti getting in. but that cant be all that matters. for the record tarver is a sure shot HOFer and not at all shot when dawson fought him.

I would say No right now. His best wins are over fighters that were clearly past their primes: 2 Wins over The Milk Dud, 2 over The Road Warrior and 1 over the Alien. I understand Gatti got in so people think they'll let anyone in nowadays, though.

              hell no.

but since mcguigan and gatti got in i guess anybody with a suspect resume can get in.

what's gonna happen now for arguments sake is that certain Hall of famers and prospective hall of famers will have the legit or not legit HOF designations.

Like when you argue for the greatness of certain boxers and you bring up gatti, it will get the not really a legit hall of famer label.

Tarver is completly shot, no where near prime.

He's not even a legend, nevermind HOF.

He shouldn't get in. His resume doesn't warrant it.

He might get in though, but that's because of inflating standards.

I don't think so but honestly after letting Gatti in, who knows. I think he's more deserving than Gatti so it's possible. Unlike Gatti, he was actually a top 10 p4p at one point and a 3x champion, two of those being a lineal champion. Gatti was never at the top of his division, he won 2 or 3 paper titles and was basically just an exciting guy to watch. By those standards Brandon Rios should be in the HOF (for those confused, I am in no way advocating Rios actually get in the HOF)

Also he beat Bernard Hopkins. A past his prime Hopkins is still head and shoulders better than anyone Gatti has ever beaten

                      Not even remotely close.

If he get's in then there's no point even having a HOF anymore.

                      Same goes for Adamek.
