Lara by a mile. Kirkland had a chance to rematch the Japanese fighter that KOed him in one round but he turned the fight down and there by turned down a chance to redeem himself. Lara is a better more accomplished fighter with a better record and that's why he is ranked well above Kirkland by every organization I know that ranks fighters.

This is what makes me laugh.. Everyone since the ishida fight thinks Kirkland has a egg shell for a chin. Who knows if Lara can survive in the first half of a fight against James? James pushed angulo back during their fight from the opening bell. I'm not saying Lara shouldn't be the favorite, but what I'm saying is James is still a very live dog coming into this fight

He recovered quickly against Angulo but it's clear he can be caught and hurt with relentless pressure. I think Kirkland can hurt Lara it's just a matter of Lara being able to hurt Kirkland and derail the pressure.
