AB was totally caught off guard by Maidana jumping on him the way he did. I also think that AB was more concerned with trying to stay calm and weathering the storm. And he basically lost all of his fundamentals. As you stated, he basically just got on a bicycle. On the sequence where he was dropped. He did just about everything a fighter could do wrong. He was backing up with his hands down. And that's not even what got him caught. Maidana basically feinted a jab to the body and brought the hook upstairs. AB saw the punch. Because for some ridiculous reason, he went to block what would have been a lunging, harmless jab to the body and left his head open. And the combination of going straight back and being caught flush dropped him and honestly probably should have ended the fight because his legs were gone. And the concerning thing as a fan of his was his inability to think while under pressure. Maidana IMO wastoo far outta range to even attempt that feint like he did. If AB had been thinking. When Chino lunged with that feint, he should have come over the top with a counter right. And his hands are fast enough and Maidana's reflexes are slow enough that he probably could have brought a hook of his own behind the counter right. After the fight, Maidana admitted that he felt AB's punches. If he properly reacts in that situation. He likely would have slowed Maidana's opening assault and the fight may play out differently.

Adrien Broner dont have heart, its his pride n fear of embarrasment that got him thru that fight and have hin needing to redeem himself...but its clear who the best boxer is n If broner prevent tge hook n chopping right hand then it will b a shut out....I hope Floyd fights Khan cuz Broner Maidana 2 Will b more entertaining than any fight in boxing right now!

LOL!!! This level of hate is how you can command 1.5M-2M a fight when your signature win is Tony Demarco. Funny thing is. Even after seeing him lose, ya'll still wanna see him get his ass kicked again. Guess that's why Maidana's worth the risk. Wtf kinds of excuse is that? He's got to have one of the ******est teams ever assembled if they were caught off guard by Meydana. He fought exactly how he fought all his previous fights, relentless pressure and overhand rights mixed in with some left hooks and a jab to set up his shots.

He had all fight to adjust and kept getting tagged with that left hook and overhand right all night long. The fact that your prepared and work hard doesn't guarantee success.
