Is PRIME Ricky Hatton underrated?

In summary the positives for Hatton's peak years are;
He ran through Kostya Tzsyu to start it off, fought through adversity and knocked Carlos Maussa's head into press row, UD'd the stronger tougher Juan Urango, highlight reel KO of Jose Castillo, early 'success' against the best P4P Floyd before losing proudly so to speak, beat Malignaggi from pillar to post. One of UK's most popular/succesful fighters ever, Ring's '05 Fighter of the year...
In summary the negatives are;
Out on his feet in big USA debut against Luis Callazo, soundly dismantled by Floyd Mayweather, had to grind out a comeback win over Juan Lazcano, decimated by Manny Pacquiao, died by the sword in comeback against Vyacheslav Senchenko. Blames training camps and lifestyle for failures and admits his P4P fights bringing him down to Earth depressed him...
Prime wise it started with Tzsyu, Mayweather forced him towards the exit, Pacquiao kicked him through it and Senchenko shut the door.
I believe Hatton is one of those fighters that's prime lasts only one or two fights, he peaked in the Tzsyu fight, I wouldn't say the rest was under/over rated.

EIther way, let me drop some knowledge on you, Hatton fought and beat Kostya, Collazo, Urango (undefeated and hard at the time). He fought an admittedly past it Castillo but he was still a damn good fighter at the time.
Oh and before the "Collazo won" "Kostya was past it" brigade come in, Kostya was the favourite going into the fight having just battered Mitchell, and coming off a string of wins over Judah, Urkal and Tackie, most by KO. Yes those fights stretch back to 01, Kostya wasn't very active but prior to the Hatton fight, there had been very little talk of Kostya being past it or even shot, much like the Manny/Oscar situation. Hatton beat Kostya at his own game and made him QUIT.
Yes the Collazo fight was close and it could have gone to him but not every fight is a robbery. Hatton won by a single round. Both men hurt each other and the final round was Collazo's but Hatton had that KD point and some good rounds under his belt. Just look at the punch stats (barely use them myself) but you can see how close that fight was, almost equal punches thrown and landed. We also have to remember, Ricky, standing at 5'7'' was moving up to 147 for the first time against a BIG welter who stands at 5'9'' and just shown h#us how hard he can hit, even at this stage in his career.
Hatton only lost to the very best in his generation, the absolute best. I'm discounting Sevchenko cos we all know Ricky was shot by then.
Hatton is underrated, he is one of the best at 140 ever, and one of the toughest guys to lace them up.

I'm generalising of course so any criticism is justified, but I think there's a slight tendency for boxing fans on the other side of the pond to denigrate Hatton in the mistaken belief that British fans believe that he was something that he wasn't.
What seems to get lost is that the regard that he's held in isn't because we believed him to be the best out there.
