No he wouldn't, Floyd would have mixed up his attack more, gone to the body, move more unpredictably, then smother and tie his man up. Lara doesn't even do directional feints, this all falls under you overrating Lara really. Angulo was green you say but when has he looked better? Joel Julio used the same Cintron approach and had plenty of success. Margarito and Angulo share the same approach but one is clearly the far superior and Margarito slicing through Cintron twice while Cintron outboxed Angulo is only a testament to that. It's weird that because Lara is your guy, you like many other choose to see things that aren't there. Lara struggled with a man he wasn't expected to struggle against, live with it and don't make shit up.

Read my post again, so you're telling me Angulo would not pressure Mayweather for 12 rounds? I never said Mayweather would have the same exact problems Lara did since I stated Floyd would do better pulling himself off the ropes because of his better inside game. Also last I recall Joel Julio got KTFO by Angulo. Yes, Angulo was green when he fought Cintron, he was also 15 pounds lighter than what he was fight night against Lara many years later and Cintron even outweighed him by 10 pounds.

Margarito has some attributes that make him better than Angulo like speed and workrate (I never disputed this that's just you putting words in my mouth). What they do share in common is their dimensions (height and reach) and a similar approach. The current Angulo does have an advantage on Margarito (a career welterweight) in terms of power (Angulo has dropped and stopped legit JMW's--something Margarito was never able to do) and is also 10 pounds heavier on fight night.
