Lara, Khan, Maidana, Bradley are all around the same money wise (There or there abouts)

But Mayweather is not going to fight that calibur of opponent(money wise) above his weight class (154).

He will, however, at his weight class (147), because he's not uncomfortable. He only fights at an uncomfortable weight class for big big fights I.e Cotto, Canelo, Oscar etc.

Hence, why Bradley, and the rest of these guys situations are not the same as the Lara one.

    It's very simple.
It is -- if one tries to be honest about things.

forgive me, ive been reading this thread and dont mean to butt in. Everything you say here makes perfect sense but dont you think Floyd should vacate his 154 belts after he wins them rather than holding on to them like he does. That way there I think it would quash alot of this nonsense.
Floyd jumps up fights somebody at 54 (for big money) and vacates the belt cause he really has no intention of fighting there other than for the big money. Makes sense to me....

        Absolutely.

He should vacate them straight away.

He won't ever fight at 154 again I imagine so it won't be long until he is stripped.

            Yeah most definitely.

Hopefully the sanctioning bodies strip him because like I said I doubt he fights at 154 again unless a huge money fight arises which I can't see where that's going to come from.

I honestly don't think he cares. I think he keeps them because he likes to keep his options open. Like the winner of the cotto/Martinez fight may make him move up again. But really, no1 will make him drop the belts so he will do what he wishes until it's time for him to drop them. To my knowledge, he's never dropped a belt willingly

Not because he's FMJr -- but he should vacate in accordance with the WBC rules... After how many months?

Oh I get it, so Mayweather will not dare to be great..Which is what brought this convo on in the first place..A comment stating Bradley did not dare to be great cause he did not sign to gbp..I know you did not make the comment, but you did join in..We're all good then..

No it didn't bring this convo on.

This convo was brought on well before that. It was brought on because you said Mayweather won't fight Lara so Bradley's not guaranteed a fight but you can't seem to grasp how those are different situations despite me explaining about 5 times now.

Mayweathers in his 5th weight class he's already dared to be great and is great.

I never implied Bradley hasn't dared to be great nor do I imply he's staying at TR is because he doesn't want to dare to he great.

Yea, but thats the problem. If hes gonna hold that belt then he should be willing to fight Lara plain and simple.(or anybody else at 54) If he vacated them after he won them then its plain as day he only jumped up in weight for that fight. It makes no sense to hold belts in a weight class hostage he really has no interest in unless its convenient to him. I think there would be much more action at 54 if there were two more belts to battle over....
