Why are people still on this fight? Pac refused 40 million dollars, what deal do you think he will get now that his stock took a major dive? Mayweather wis not going to fight him unless he gets everything he wants. Pac refused 40 mil, to now wanting to fight for free. It doesn't make any sense. Correction sir. He refused the fight THREE times. He walked away from the initial negotiations in 2009 when Floyd wouldn't give him a 21 day cut of fon testing, they refused when Judge Weinstein approached them about serving as a mediator for negotiations in 2011, and Manny turned down Floyds offer in 2012. When it comes times to negotiate, Manny has refused. But he goes in the press prior to his fight, because that seems the only way he can get anyone interested in seeing him fight is to mention Mayweather, and says he wants the fight when in reality he doesnt.

The funniest part about the 09/10 negotiation is that after Manny refused OST (with a 14 day cut off) his team swiftly went into damage control and stated they agreed to the cut off and Floyd rejected it despite his team advising him to take it. The impartial mediator had to then release a statement saying this assertion from team MP was false. Two weeks later the Clottey fight was signed.

So Pacfans, question? If you are trying to make the fight, WHY LIE ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED IN NEGOTIATIONS??? TO TRY AND SAVE FACE PERHAPS? Someone should have called Bob and told him not to bother, as Pac fans are happy living in a state of denial and delusion.

you all are dumb, floyd signed a 50/50 in dec 2009, even agreed to all the ******ed stuff manny wanted, he initially wanted 30 day testing, floyd fought it, but then agreed to 2 weeks before fight, manny still said no.....then he was offered a purse of 40 mil, actually that would have been highest paid purse at time =) hmmmm, floyd just broke record of 32 and 36, so manny would have made more than that. he turned that down. when manny didn't make that much in his next 2 fights combined.
now manny WANTS drug testing with rios, ******, and now claims any fighter tested positive should pay a penalty. LMAO where was this ish 3 years ago man? floyd aint scared, u all just think manny is good and the best and SOOO smart when he hasnt passed the 3rd grade

I answered your question. You just wont accept it. Manny didn't negotiate with JMM for April because JMM said repeatedly he wasn't going to fight. If you undertsand that then you understood my previous post.

Manny's post fight presser was Nov 28th. Khan signed December, after the announcement of April 12th. If you want to discount that announcement. so be it.

Basically, you are suggesting that al/gbp call them / Cool. why wouldn't bob/manny call them before announcing April 12th? I woud think it works both ways but its clear you see it otherwise.

Actually, about a month before Floyd called Pacquiao directly, Floyd's team contacted Arum through a third party attempting to make a fight, but he said they weren't interested because they were pursuing a fight with Marquez, which is exactly what happened.
