hey all that posted it probably should be noted that australian networks are that ******ed. we have to pay to watch rugby league players fight tomato cans. katsidas fought in tasmania and main event (our pay per view network) would not televise it beacause they had a packed schedule which was a mundine fight the week before and a ufc fight the week after. so give geale a break guys australian boxing networks are ******ed enough to not televise the fight if it clashes with something which means that Australian fans miss out

In a way though he's kinda smoothed over his relationship with HBO and left the door open by kinda taking the blame on himself, which may have been the point of the exercise. If so things look promising for a later bout.

Well let's go this route. Since we're not confident that GGG can handle his business with Ward right now and needs yet another tune-up. This "idiot" would like to see GGG fight Sakio Bika. He has a belt. Doesn't duck anything. But doesn't beat the top guys. Is that a lesser enough opponent for him? Or has his online agent, would you perfer an even softer touch?

Bika would be a great fight for GGG, tough and dangerous and not an easy touch even for the top SMWs - give a real clue how GGG would play with the bigger guys.

Hell I'd be happy with that fight even before finishes TCOB at 160.

The other mention, (though I think it's unlikely to come off) is that Sauerland is looking at GGG as one of several opponents for Kessler if (big if) Mikkel decides to continue boxing. Top level opponent but just a little off his best. Would be a great fight and if Golovkin could get through Kessler he'd have to be considered to at least belong in the ring with Dre.

Yeah - I did a little research into Aussie TV after this story broke and you guys get screwed on the PPVs doncha? 1 PPV chanel that shows everything and has exclusive rights? That plain sucks - ain't surprised there's scheduling clashes.

That's why I ain't giving Danny too much grief, cos I can understand he wants his fans to watch..but it ain't an excuse he can use again - guys have to fight abroad all the time without their fans getting to see it live...Main Event could always put it on a delay - have it on the Sunday night or something, I know it ain't the same, but that's biznez.
