All that talk form the Face Off like 'Ill smile coz you hit like a b1tch' and 'getting hit is better than sex for me' would have lost a whole lot of meaning...But still I agree he deserves respect for simply facing up to not being up to it mentally once he was hit...Rare to hear a boxer face up to that especially one as proud as Rios.
    Yeah no doubt.

Anyone who witnessed the second Alvarado fight knew Pac was atleast capable of outboxing Rios. Arum was trying to sell this like it was going to be some Gatti-Ward type ****..

Still I don't think any other fighter could have done to Rios what Pacquiao did. Pacquiao pitched a shutout to a world class fighter. Bradley, you're next.
That's what I've been saying, rios is not a ATG or anything like that but other fighters couldn't have just make rios look like a kid in there like how manny did. Look at Alvarado, the guy some people on here complain that PAC ducked for rios, mike went life and death with rios twice and look what manny did to rios lol.

For real. Like you said Brandon obviously isn't some great fighter but he's not the complete trash that people want to make him out to be either. He was an unbeaten (well technically at least) up and coming brawler, kinda established himself nationally (boxing wise) after Alvarado 1, and then lost a close decision in the rematch. And the dude has never been stopped in his career.

But after the Pac fight now he's just a piece of trash punching bag that any two bit f**ker on boxing scene could whoop the **** out of, lmfao. And it was such a horrible indictment on Pacquiao because he couldn't stop a guy who had never been stopped before in his career. What the f**k ever. Rios is a damn human zombie. You could shoot him with a damn 12 gauge and he'd still come forward.

James Toney? Pacman has never been a MOP(Master of The Pocket) He needs footwoork unlike Floyd who can walk you down without an oz of movement. But I do kind of agree with the Pernell Whitaker comparison. This may spark controversey but I think Pac is better than Pernell. Pac has outslicked opponents his whole career. Pea had several fights where his style couldnt translate. Pac outboxes everyone.

You don't think another fighter could have completely outboxed Rios? And beat him by decision?

Pacquiao does that to his opponent even without fighting them. PAC knocked Cotto down and Floyd was mind-fu(k already.
