What good is spending truckloads of money on expensive undercards when you have nothing left to fund regular fights? It sucks for the subscribers.

SHO is too much focused on Mayweather fights and the result is long layoffs for their fighters. Where is Matthysse, Garcia, Berto, Guerrero, etc.? HBO gave weekly fights at the end of last year and SHO couldn't match it.

Well in order to compete with UFC they should put good undercards. I do follow it as a casual and i must say from top to bottom every contest is worth it and not cuz its more of a fite and smaller gloves and more ways to loose which makes it exciting but also the QUALITY of the match ups.
Like it or not it is a threat.
