THe OP is just saying what everyone thinks already. Facing Canelo at a CW is as risky as Floyd is willing to get.

When someone like GGG is considered to maybe beat him at 154, he makes excuses or rather his fans do as to why he cant fight him. Although Floyd fans say he will beat anyone 154 and under.

If you exchange his 130-154 resume with some one else resume who's active, including the undefeated record, that fighter would be considered a top 20 ATG.

so Floyd basically has to fight bigger & bigger guys until he loses, which you will rip him for after that and call him an overrated bum. Not to mention the fact that if Floyd took the fight and won, you would rip Floyd for draining GGG and saying its meaningless

Well Floyd will be criticised no matter what, you know that, Floyd knows that, and I know that. He will be critised for fighting smaller guys in Garcia and Khan, and he would probably be criticised less for draining GGG. If people think GGG will beat FLoyd then Floyd will get credit. Will Floyd be underdog?

If Floyd took the GGG fight, he would be praised for it. If Floyd won, who knows how people would feel, I haven't got a crystal ball.....we'll cross that bridge when it comes.
On the other hand, if FLoyd took the Garcia or Khan fight, no big deal really is it? He is close to taking the khan fight or Maidana fight and he will be criticised and is being criticised as we speak......so, so what? Whats your point?

Hatton was an undefeated P4P guy. Mosley had just decapitated the guy everyone said was the most feared man in boxing in Margarito. Everyone said Floyd would duck him. Floyd owns him and now that W means nothing? The same goes for Canelo. EVeryone said Floyd would duck him, he just beat a very good guy in Trout, and Floyd nearly shut him out.

Ortiz suffered a brutal KO to which he may have not been the same after. Oscar was one of the biggest fights in history, it was at 154 when Floyd was a really small guy, and he had just decapitated the super tough Mayorga. Thats not even counting guys who are still very good fighters like Cotto. Would anyone be shocked if he won the MW title? Cotto Im talking about.

This is not even talking about the fact that Floyd was a HOF fighter before 2006. You dont get that without having a good resume. Fact is most of these guys werent even watching boxing back then so they downplay what he accomplished
What so If you don't bow down and praise Mayweathers **** resume you're a "hater"? He's above criticism even though its a known fact he blatantly cherry picks. GTFO fanboy
