Hatton was an undefeated P4P guy. Mosley had just decapitated the guy everyone said was the most feared man in boxing in Margarito. Everyone said Floyd would duck him. Floyd owns him and now that W means nothing? The same goes for Canelo. EVeryone said Floyd would duck him, he just beat a very good guy in Trout, and Floyd nearly shut him out.

Ortiz suffered a brutal KO to which he may have not been the same after. Oscar was one of the biggest fights in history, it was at 154 when Floyd was a really small guy, and he had just decapitated the super tough Mayorga. Thats not even counting guys who are still very good fighters like Cotto. Would anyone be shocked if he won the MW title? Cotto Im talking about.

This is not even talking about the fact that Floyd was a HOF fighter before 2006. You dont get that without having a good resume. Fact is most of these guys werent even watching boxing back then so they downplay what he accomplished
JMM jumped 2 weight classes which does taint that win. Good fight regardless.

Hatton was not that good, he beat a shot Castillo who didn't make weight. His win vs Kosta was when he was allowed to hug Kosta all day long... plus Kosta was inactive and retired anyway.

Mosely was an OK win but looked **** VS Moyarga and Cotto. Marg without wraps is simply not able to hurt people and break them down as with.

Canelo was too young, everyone said it and had stamina issues. Trout is OK but limited. He beat Cotto at 154 yeah, but Cotto isn't that effective at this weight.

Despite that, Floyd has one of the best active resumes today.

How when he fought a shot Mosley, Dlh, hatton and cheato. Clotteynev.er had a stand out performance, got ko by a older slower Marquez Floyd toyed with years back, fought Bradley who did nothing at the weight prior to and recently fought bum bum rios?
