Golovkin's next fight will draw around 1.5 million viewers on HBO - again. And after that they will ask for a 50/50 split or even 60/40. And they will do it rightfully. At the end of the day nobody cares about the resume. Boxing is a business. Golovkin's last fight at the theatre MSG was a sell-out and it wasn't because of Stevens. Nobody cares about Stevens. The people were chanting Golovkin's name. Ward draws 3.000 people in his hometown. Let's be honest: Golovkin is on his way to become a cashcow and with every fight it's getting more and more unrealistic for Ward to ask for 50/50 or even 60/40. He knows that and because of that he wants the fight to happen fast.

I guess I don't have to mention that Golovkin is already a bigger star in Europe then Ward. People forget that it's not only about the money HBO puts on the table. The German, English and Eastern Europe TV companies are also paying money to see GGG fight - not Ward.

Not just no, but hell no. Hell the guys he's fought I haven't even heard of. But he's a star......... Dude beat a few bums now he thinks he's bigger then Ward. Last cat that thought like that ended up face down while Mitt Romney and he's wife look on in amazement thinking time themselves that they glad running for president isn't like ducking Floyd Mayweather. Because ducking Floyd gets you KTFO by a guy Floyd toyed with............
What does that even mean? also 1st - when did he say he was bigger? He said EQUAL terms. Plus, he never said he had a better resume he said he was a star. Ward winnin super six made him a lb 4lb fighter not a star. Just like bradleys impressive resume wit legit wins over peterson , alexander, provodnikov and JMM dont make him a star. Big difference bt being a great fighter and a star. They r not one and the same. GGG is s star. His ratings are better than wards and he draws big at msg.

Just because Ward beat better opposition and has a much more impressive resume, that does not mean he is a bigger star, Golovkin is rapidly becoming the "STAR" in and around the middleweight division he has way more star appeal than Ward mainly because his KOs and he is white to boot. Warde might have to take the lower percentage in a year or two.

True and False. Ward is not a household name. GGG does need to eliminate this snoozing fake p4p impostor that nobody knows

That's some pretty low standards for a guy with so much hype, who claims he'd fight any one from 160-175.
