Why does everyone have to be so extreme? It isnt either black or white, try to take a couple steps back and put down your fanboy or hate glasses. GGG will fight Ward when the time is right, GGG has unfinished business at 160 and that fight against Ward would be much bigger if GGG cleaned out 160 first, for that to happen Martinez and maybe Quillin or Geale/Sturm would have to grow some balls, thats not GGGs fault. Ward is by far the toughest fight for GGG from 154 to 168. GGG is not even a big middleweight, he enters his camp at about 167 and can still make 154 if he would get a shot at Canelo, Cotto or Mayweather while Ward is kinda big for 168.
For his biggest threat in a division above him he, taking the biggest risk his team want to make sure that this is a BIG fight where both make alot of money, i think it would be wise to fight a tuneup fight @168 first before challenging the #2 p4p fighter. Give this man some time, if actually no other top middleweights grow some balls and are still running scared of GGG it would be best to fight someone like Chavez Jr/Brian Vera or Edwin Rodriguez first, get used to the weightclass and then fight Ward in 2015.
I am a fan of GGG and i wouldnt want to see him against Ward just now (and i have to agree that he would probably lose to Ward right now but still put up a good fight) - but fighting right now, thats not smart. I dont see anyone of those 2 losing their next couple fights, get a bigger fanbase and more recognition and then have a huge fight next year.
