biggest box office draw since mike tyson
4x in the Fight of the Year
2 division champ (the IBA is not a real title)
if guys like braddock, mcguigan, and johansson can get it, gatti sure as hell can, too
one of the most exciting fighters in history
one of the biggest fan bases in decades

yes, gatti will be in the HOF.

      No. That is not correct.

If he gets a fight against Baldy and wins, then he'll eventually get voted into the HOF. I'm on the fence.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. A while back, NO, he wasnt a bigger draw...I think that DLH was the biggest non heavy wt. draw there was for a while. But today, he just might draw a bigger crowd than DLH.

I think DLH could sell more tickets fighting a rodeo clown, or janitor.

Get him outside the north east and I'm sure it's a different story. The way you're looking at it, Joe Mesi must be a big name because he can sell out Buffalo, New York's SBC Center.

If the words of 50 Cent "Yo[Gatti's] ass is local."

                  Bloodshed...nice quote.

Yes, Bloodshed and Runs with Knives. ODLH is a FAR greater draw than Gatti. Now. Then. Always. Only the Gatti spunk-guzzlers think differently.

Every welterweight or Jr. welterweight in the world calls out Oscar. Not Arturo Gatti.

Oscar DelaHoya can fight ANYONE and sell $30-40 million in PPV tickets.

Arturo Gatti fought the best fighter in the world and sold $15 million.
