You really think Jmm will beat pac again? Come on dude, yes he's got his number but there's no chance in hell he can beat manny again, manny will be way too motivated for that match up

The bold part says it all.

When Pacquiao tried to box, he got beat although unofficially in their third fight. When he decided to go balls out he got stretched.

You can't say he wasn't motivated, this isn't Chavez jr. we're talking about here. He was highly motivated in all their fights because of the controversy.

And what's happened since? Going 12 rounds with a journeyman doesn't make you the second best in the world.

I actually don't but until Pac gets that win, I can't rank Pac higher.

But that's the point of my pound for pound list, it depends on right now. Right now pac would beat everyone except floyd period.

Journeyman implies you actually were someone at some point. People were calling him Bum Bum Rios years before he lost his way into a Pac fight. Rios isn't a journeyman, a has been, or a gatekeeper...he is a never was.

Again if that's meant to be a "regular" pound for pound list, then you missed the point of this thread.

This pound for pound list determines which fighters are the best right now, excluding any of their previous encounters ( I don't know if I explained it properely)

                    1) mayweather
                    2) pacquiao
                    3) ward
                    4) golovkin

                    8) martinez
                    9) marquez
                    10) kovalev

Anyone I missed? What do you guys think?

Also if anyone understood my point and can explain it better, please do
the only problem i have with your list is, why in the world a scared coward is #1?

I like that list!! Except for Ward... he does not belong in the top P4P IMHO. At best, he should be 9-10. Martinez is debatable as well... he got slapped around by weeded up version of Chavez Jr and beat a drunken fighter in Pavlik. P Will as dangerous as he was, was a very vulnerable fighter. Martinez got beat by Margarito as well. IMO he is not P4P material either.
