Ward #1. He's simply the most well rounded fighter and has fought the best competition in the last 6 years.

I just dont think it works like that. Ability is proven against competition. Plenty of guys have looked like world beaters against the Adamas of the world. I think Golovkin will go on to be a great MW but his abilities haven't been tested against anywhere near the level Martinez' has.

Also Pacquiao IMO should have dropped way off, no way near the fighter he was 4-5 years ago. Ward #2

Yeah I completely understand your point and I know it's difficult to make a list like this when certain fighters haven't been proven yet.

Yes ward and pacquiao was close for me, you could pretty much interchange them, but I disagree with you about how much manny's slipped. Who do you think can beat manny right now excluding floyd?

This pound for pound list determines which fighters are the best right now, excluding any of their previous encounters ( I don't know if I explained it properely)

                1) mayweather
                2) pacquiao
                3) ward
                4) golovkin
                5) rigo
                6) klitschko
                7) bradley
                8) martinez
                9) marquez
                10) kovalev

Anyone I missed? What do you guys think?

Also if anyone understood my point and can explain it better, please do
If you're talking about who is the best RIGHT NOW then surely Bradley has to be ranked above Pac as Bradley is probably a top 2 ww nd Pac comes in at 3.

Golovkin can't be above Rigo and Martinez, both men are the best in their respective divisions.

Klitschko can't be below some of those names.

JMM for a start. He's simply not the fighter he was 5 years ago. I would also remove Martinez from the list completely if it's based off recent form.
