Has a chance based on what? His predictable pitty pat flurries? Its the same thing with him just repeated over & over again.

Man I'm only gonna say this once.

Floyd is a sharpshooter. He WILL land on either fighter. Khan's gameplan will change as soon as he's hit flush. Speed is nice but mentality is EVERYTHING. Khan doesn't have the mentality to beat Floyd... Maidana does.

Maidana will get hit, and try to walk through Floyd. Khan will get hit, and backpedal as he's walked down.

Clever move by Floyd. I've been looking at some of the Instagram responses, most of them are guys from the UK calling for the Khan fight. Let's make something clear, next to Manny Pacquiao, Amir Khan is still probably his best option in terms of making $ and drawing revenue because of the homerism of UK fans who still insist that Khan has a chance. Khan will win the poll and then Mayweather can say he gave the fans what they wanted, while leaving hardcore fight fans disappointed. Not that Maidana matches up any more favorably, it's just that he's coming off a string of victories that make it feel more moralistically proper to give a boxer on the upswing a chance.

After the fight when Floyd is asked about facing yet another weak opponent, he'll say: "The Fans chose this fight."

Broner had a rematch clause in his contract with Maidana. Which means he would voluntarily have to step aside, likely wanting a hefty fee. Is Maidana worth enough to Floyd to pay AB a step aside fee? I doubt it considering he'll likely do similar numbers with Khan.

Ironically, everybody Floyd fights magically becomes a "weak opponent" after Floyd fights them.

Mayweather letting fans pick because khan has a much bigger social media following . Easy way to get himself a mismatched opponent
