Were was Guerrero's fanbase??Ortiz does not have some big following,and neither does Khan(esp in the states)Baldomir..Everything does not have to be about money..Maidana or Khan are not some big draws,let's not pretend that they are..I actually believe Lara would bring more interest then both..He's a natural JMW and has stopped bigger fighters..Not to mention he is skilled,it's an easy sell on the showtime series..Not to mention to the public..

Were as(esp in the case of Khan)you have guy's who really don't seem to be on Mayweathers level at all..I feel I've always been fair with Mayweather,but these two fights are weak man..No other way to spin it..Khan not deserving,and while Maidana is deserving,he has nothing to trouble Mayweather with..

I don't agree that Lara vs Floyd would be boring..I think you'll see Floyd finally pushed(have not seen this in yrs)and Floyd would have to go to another level(if he could)for the win..I just feel both of these fights are weak bro..Esp when you have Lara and legacy right there..Floyd is going to make 40mill regardless bro..So I really don't care about if Lara is a draw or not..Real talk,Lara is the best fight for Mayweather right now..

All good points, especially about RG not really having a huge fan base. I don't Lara even holds a proper title *and yes i know titles are crap these days* but i just don't think that apart from us fans who watch pretty much everything that Lara is that well known and would create that much buzz if Floyd beat him. At least the Maidana fight would be a unification and would have the revenge angle.

Look, if you watched Devon Alexander v. maidana, you have seen that maidana has no prayer against a slick boxer. That fight was horrible. I lve maidana, but for him to be considered here is some sort of sick joke. Khan is even worse. There are other of decent fights for floyd (lara, thurman, provodnikov, pacquiao, bradley), excluding fights which would require bigger guys to come down. Of the bigger guys, both golovkin and martinez have said they would come to 154 to fight him. Floyd, obviously, wants no part of either of the, especially golovkin.

Pacquiao is fighting Bradly. GET OFF THE PACQUIOA ARGUMENT ALREADY!!! lol I'd rather see Broner rematch Maidana. Khan is not worthy, but realistically there's not much more to choose from. He only went up to fight Canelo, because that was a huge fight. GGG is NOT a huge money making fight. I'd love to see him fight GGG, but its just not happening. Why wish, hope and cry about something that's not going to happen. Be realistic here.

Maidana and Khan aren't big fights either. Floyd will never break a million ppv for either, meaning showtime could lose money on them. Yeah, yeah, showtime made money on the guerrero ppv, but still won't release the actual official buys. I don't buy it. Both of those proposed fights suck. Maidana is awful against good, slck boxers (watch the alexander fight again). Khan just sucks. His chin is worse than glass joe's.

I can agree with this. Only way it happens is if they put Lara on Floyd's undercard and looks good winning that fight. Maybe Mayweather Lara in September... who knows.
