Why are you saying he had no legs? He clearly got off the ropes before the fight was stopped and tried to push Froch back before being taken in a gridlock by the ref.

I have never said he was in total control, but there's no doubt he should have been allowed to continue. Froch landed about three half shots in the closing sequence. There's absolutely no grounds to stop a fight like that and it's really taking the piss on Groves.
    Found it

    Highlighted the hilarious parts.

      1) Froch has as much right to feel aggrieved by Howard Foster's intervention; he was on the verge of flattening Groves.

      2) He wasn't smug in his post-fight comments. He just remarked, like many on this forum, at the fickle nature of fans. That's true: Brits are known for it. He had every reason to be pissed at those idiots who booed him.

      3) Froch has been pretty frank about his career plans for some time. He's always wanted a BIG fight in Vegas, and has even reason to be pissed by the IBF's decision. It interrupts a potential money/dream bout in the 'States.

      4) If anyone is backtracking, it's Groves. Incessantly b1tching about Matchroom, the judges, the split, the venue etc. It's bizarre. He NEEDS Froch.
Froch was not aggrieved though, he welcomed Howard Foster's decision to stop the fight.

He was smug and delusional, but that can be excused because he took several huge blows to the head. The fans were booing Froch because he was talking bull.

The poor international superstar, he has unfinished business with Groves, he didn't mind mentioning a rematch when he wanted a cheer from the crowd, the charlatan.

Groves wants Froch to agree to the rematch, and has every right to complain about Matchroom, some of their officiating has been on par with the German officiating of the 90s and 00s.

Do all boxers "throw themselves into the ropes" when they're upset about a decision?

Maybe Froch really didn't remember the schooling he received and was so much in dreamland after the knockdown he actually thought he bossed the fight.

Do all referees grab fighters in headlock and pull them away when that fighter is taking punches?

Foster and Froch were double teaming Groves, they just needed Eddie in there crouching behind Groves to get the knockdown.

Groves hit Froch so hard that even his fan boys have become delusional.

That's some scary power that Groves got.

When a fighter appears defenceless and isn't throwing back, yes, they sometimes do.

What next, Groves was playing possum?

Groves is twisting and acting a more than bit entitled.
