How embarrassing it will be for Sergio to lose to the pink wearing, leg crossing Cotto. How embarrassing indeed.

Oh, and a plug, but please remember the fallen warriors of WW2.

Remember your past, for it will guide your future

With that being said, War Cotto

What does it matter that Sergio is bigger than Cotto? Wasn't Chavez bigger than Sergio? Anyways I have always thought Sergio was overrated and given too much props for knocking pwill out in 15 rounds. Just hope if Cotto wins the Sergio is old or Sergio is handicapped excuse does not come out. Judging by the poll that does not matter today so it should not matter on Sunday.

ive been thinking quite a lot about this fight and believe it is 50/50 purely for the fact that sergio is coming off devastating injuries so i dont think he will be the same. cotto should fight on the outside and use his movement to make sergio use his legs more than he wants to.

sergio is clearly the bigger more power man though and all it is going to take is 1 clean punch to put cotto on the floor. sergio has a solid chin at 160 while cotto has been hurt badly by guys like judah and torres at 140. cotto also struggles with speed and tends to fade in the latter parts of a fight.

i think cotto will win the first few rounds by boxing then sergio will starts to lay hands on him, maybe cotto survives and wins a ud, maybe sergio knee gives in like yuri foremans did and is forced to stop the fight or sergio could catch cotto clean and put him out. given that cotto defence is pretty **** im going with sergio by ko mid/late rounds

p4p i think cotto is the better fighter and had they both been the same size with same power, reach, speed etc. i would pick cotto to win the fight but sergios size advantage will compensate for any skill deficiencies i think. wont be surprised at all though if sergio just looks a shell of himself in there.

I seen both 24/7 episodes and I have not seen any sparing other than what they showed on episode 1 when Freddy was on his phone looking at a video of Miguel.

              Why is Freddy posting this:

Roach says he***39;s able to watch and okay what parts of sparring @HBOSports includes in 24/7. #CottoMartinez #Boxing

You're right, Chavez is bigger than Martinez, but size is just one factor in a fight. Sergio is a much better boxer than Junior. Cotto is not a much better boxer than Martinez. Their boxing ability is comparable, but Sergio is bigger.

And "Maravilla" iced P Will in epic fashion in two, not fifteen.

Why do people think Martinez can't box? You don't fight bigger boxers and win without knowing how to box. I like my Rican brothers but this fight has brought out the fan boy in some. And before anyone starts blasting me my wife is Rican and my kids are half Rican. Thought I would get that out of the way.

Cotto fans are a bit too obsessed with his left hook. It's like someone posting clips of Donaire's left hook and saying that he knocks out Bradley.
