I think pressure is key here... if Cotto can make martinez move all night... I don't think that knee will survive all that activity.

You guys forget what Cotto has. ROACH. Roach has trained one of the greatest southpaws in history. I think he knows a thing or two about diffusing one. He ALSO already fought Martinez and nearly had him out if Chavez Jr. wasn't such a bum when it came to training and discipline. Now Roach has Cotto's full attention and probably some of the greatest southpaw knowledge being passed on to him on how to diffuse Maravilla.
It may be a lot closer fight than you think...

Serg has a lot of turnover in his punches. Looks to me like they are training to counter over Cotto's jab. One would hope Maravilla doesn't stop and look when he lands a counter though.. I thought his balance looked maybe a tad off ...leaning too far forward after the counter...


Anyway... Maravilla should win this. It's his fight to lose.
