Hou you are seriously a great poster but just like sturm never fights the winner, Rubio will never ever fight cotto or Sergio. I've said this countless times to you now regarding other mandos in other threads and you have said "but you never know" and none of the fights have happened. Rubio will never fight cotto or Sergio in this lifetime.

We're not saying picking Martinez to win is "hating" on Cotto. We're saying people picking Martinez to destroy the "gatekeeper" are disrespectful and won't be forgotten.

It's been beyond choosing the favorite. I totally get that Martinez is the favorite, as he should be. He's bigger, faster, stronger and a true MW.

But it's been disrespectful - beyond being funny. Whether it's lame quitting jokes, to saying that he'll be in the stands or that he'll be KO'd in 3. I mean we even having guys compare him to duds like Dzinz, the Michael Jennings of the 154 division.

I can respect Serg being the favorite but c'mon, give Cotto some respect and a fighting chance - if his career has shown anything, it's that he's cut from a different cloth than most fighters and willing to **** it up with anyone

I happen to believe Sergio is going to win next weekend. But Miguel is a great champ, and Sergio is older and suffering knee problems. Anything can happen.

Reasonable fans from either camp can easily be forgiven for being wrong. It's the guys talking up a trash storm that'll need to run and hide. lol What sucks is, speaking for myself, I can't lay into them the way I would like out of respect to the cool Cotto supporters. (Assuming Martinez wins, of course.)
