everyone saying he is not a good counter puncher dont realize he had 350 amatuer fights as a counter puncher...he was strictly a counter puncher until he turned pro and turned into an offensive fighter...I highly doubt he forgot how to counter punch...

Looks poor to me to be to be honest.

He get's tagged too much for my liking against the bums that he fights.

Shows almost no headmovment and I don't see this parrying that people talk about.

I'm not saying he's Brandon Rios because obviously he's not and he has solid fundamentals and but his defense doesn't look very good at all to me.

Well he's not the fastest fighter out there. He can move his head a little better too, but when you're the kind of fighter he is, you're gonna get hit. He's a stalker/destroyer. I can see a good counter puncher with lateral movement, speed and timing giving him some trouble. I personally think Ward is a bad match up for him. He's the only one I would pick for sure at MW or SMW to beat him. I'm a big fan though.

I don't think his feet are really slow. He just seems to set his speed to his opponents and works on traps. More methodical approach. His hand speed is really only average though.

Other than that he seems tight to me.

He's not an intelligent fighter, he doesn't seem to adapt at all.

He did a good job early on and he does have decent reflexes but he can't see a jab coming very well at all. I look at his frame and he is a "smallish" man but he is "thick". His legs, arms, mid-section, shoulders, and back are all dense. He reminds me of a workhorse, like a mule or something and having all that muscle will make you tire out very quickly. His movement seems to decline dramatically after 2 or 3 rounds.
